  1. is that okay if my skateboard is not going straight? if i start pushing, my skateboard is just slowly starts to turn to right… is this okay, or i need to do sometjing with it? because it’s bugging me so much…. 😒

    1. Ginger same thing happens to me. It’s because you aren’t putting your foot directly in the middle. It always happens to me then I lose my balance while I’m pushing

  2. is it weird that i dont wanna go to my skate park to skate. i really would like yo skate on my board but im more comfortable by myself in a parking lot becuase i feel that im not so good so why go around people. so i dont really ride but i still wanna learn. ive wanted to skate since i was 5. but i dont know if i should keep trying since right now being around people and skating scares me

    1. same here. I have this really weird nature tho. Like if someone else is shy I feel like i have to prove I’m not shy and in order to show them that I’m not. I over come my shyness and go and do it. To prove myself to them that look i did it. C’m on you can 2

    2. its like how I started learning English, I was shy and nervous to talk to native speakers cuz I know my English is bad and Im gonna make tons of mistakes. But I then image the situation that some foreigners walk up to me and tryna start a conversation with me in my language, I wont laugh at em. nobody would.

    3. As someone who started skating for the first time at my college campus literally 4 days ago, I can attest to this fear as I have felt it too. I use a penny board just to get from point A to point B, and even then I’ve had some troubles. The main thing I think about is that the only way to get better is to fail a lot.

But yeah, for just starting out, skating when no one is around is completely fine. I skated home from a late test at 9pm with no one around and it was fantastic.

    4. Chloe Williams sounds like you have anxiety and are scared of what people may think of you, don’t fear anything, learn to live life to the fullest, keep your head and shoulder high, be confident, be the person you aspire to be, improve yourself, learn new things, enjoy life the way you want to and do what you want!

Go down to the local skatepark and practice, look at other skaters do their thing, don’t be afraid to ask for tips and how to do things, they’re people just like you, they will most likely want to try and help and even more so since you’re female.

    1. You should. I dont ride unicycles. However, it would be very entertaining. I think you would have quite a bit of success doing tutorials, flows, bails (unfortunately), etc. With a tripod, and decent editing software. It could be done with a decent cellphone to start. Maybe save some or your better content for when you get a better camera. Something kinda cool, not sure how difficult, would be riding with a selfie stick. Interesting camera shot. Just some ideas. Goodd luck. I would sub seriously 😉

    2. Nice. I’m an inline skater. I record my flow sessions with a selphie stick. I’ve only posted one. I once the weather gets better will do more. I find it interesting with extreme sports when we post our past times. 😀

  3. One weird thing: When I slide on ice my left foot goes forward, but for whatever reason I find it more comfortable to have my right foot forward. I’m very new, so I could switch over easily enough. Should I switch over and learn to skate ‘normal’ or should I stay goofy?

  4. My feet have really been aching from having to walk to all my classes, so I finally decided to invest in a skateboard after watching this video. Thanks for the video, it honestly helps a lot.
